Infinity Labs launches its first-ever AI Art Competition
On March 17th, we launched our very first AI Art Competition. We wanted to encourage our community to showcase their creativity by leveraging AI tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and many more.
This competition invites the participants from our community to generate AI Art based on the original "Scenes from the Solverse" collection. To help the participants, we set up a Midjourney channel in our Discord server. We're thrilled to see the unique interpretations and creative twists that our community will bring to these scenes.
What's exciting about this competition is that all participants will receive a special art-themed role in our Discord server. This not only recognizes their participation in the competition but also helps to build a sense of community among our AI Art enthusiasts.
In addition, all participants' AI-generated art will be added to our Explorer Art Gallery - more information on this one soon!
The winners will be announced tomorrow, March 31st at 10pm UTC. Exciting prizes are up for grabs!

Infinity Labs' Canon Episode Debut: Hakon, The Broken
“Before the war between timelines, before the Mergers and the Preservers, there was a powerful being named Håkon. Before we tell the beginning of our story, we need to know how his story ended.”
The release of Infinity Labs' first canon episode, "Hakon, The Broken" has sparked a wave of excitement among the community for its immersive digital storytelling. This first episode marks the beginning of a thrilling journey into a world unlike any other.
From AR to new applications in sound, AI, storytelling, and interactivity, we've been experimenting and brainstorming internally about the overall Infinity Labs canon - pushing the boundaries of what's possible in digital media. This marks the culmination of countless sessions of experimentation and brainstorming, as we sought to bring our vision for a cohesive universe to life.

From Launch to Orbit: M1's second video follows the journey of files to the ISS
This week, we released the 2nd video from M1 Launch, explaining the journey of files from Earth to the International Space Station (ISS) through the Bishop Airlock module.
The video features some of our friends from Nanoracks, Mike Lewis, the Chief Innovation Officer, and Scott Rodriguez, Vice President of Government Programs, describing the significance of the Bishop Airlock for sending payloads to the Space Station.
It's incredible to think about the amazing feat of sending signals through the vacuum of space and receiving them. This video showcases the possibilities of space exploration and the advancement in space technology that make it all possible.

Meta “winds down” NFT support on Facebook and Instagram
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has announced that it will be discontinuing its non-fungible token (NFT) features on both platforms.
“Across the company, we’re looking closely at what we prioritize to increase our focus,” Stephanie Kasriel said, Meta commerce and fintech lead.
The company is "winding down" NFT support as they want to focus on alternative methods of supporting creators, individuals, and enterprises. Meta is directing its attention towards areas where it can create significant effects on a large scale, such as enhancing messaging, monetization capabilities on Reels, and improving its Meta Pay system.
Facebook and Instagram offered NFTs for a short period of time, but Meta has now halted its emphasis on the feature. Nonetheless, the firm intends to continue developing its technology offerings and integrating them with the financial sector.
